Art Reveal: The Outsiders

I’m kind of a sucker for ensemble, team stories, and my new web serial, The Outsiders of Xykesh is the latest symptom in that chronic bug. And just like with the team from They Met in a Tavern, I wanted to get some artwork rendered for the main cast. This time however, I tapped the incredibly talented ilikebumbums to create the official artwork for our heroes, and they did a phenomenal job!

Besides the single asterisk of “don’t put any stock in the actual letters you see on List’s arm” (I didn’t give the artist the actual list of names on her because it’s long and also I haven’t actually come up with every name on that list. I just told them to fill her tattoo with gibberish, and they delivered.) they came out pretty much exactly how I’ve always imagined them. As usual, I am absolutely thrilled to see my girls and boys brought to life, and fingers crossed these images will provide the reference for many more renditions to come!

I’ll probably also end up doing character playlists for this gang as well, because I’m me, and for some reason the Character Playlist challenge remains far and away the most successful thing I’ve ever posted. But for now, this is the Outsiders! Say hi everyone!
